IT Futures and the Innovation 1st Project is delighted to announce that renowned Internet Business Expert Susan Hallam will be presenting at an event on 15 December 2011. Susan will be presenting two sessions to West Midlands SME’s about the new changes within online marketing. The first session will look at the search engine Google and how recent changes within it can impact on your business. Susan will highlight how the recent changes can cause your business to lose rankings and will also include information about Google +, Google Places and much more. Her second session will showcase practical ways in which your business can benefit from using social media such as Facebook, Twitter, Blogging and Youtube.

Her views on Internet business issues have been published in the Sunday Times, she is a popular speaker at Internet conferences, and she regularly writes for the Internet press. Prior to setting up Hallam Communications in 1999, Susan held senior Internet marketing roles at British Telecom and Capital One. Susan’s initial interest in the Internet and electronic commerce arose from her teaching and research role as a Senior Lecturer in Information Technology at The Nottingham Trent University, where she continues to guest lecture.
