The e-Business Adoption project was run by IT Futures to help Tourism and leisure businesses adopt, and get the most out of internet technologies. Since its launch in January 2007, the team assisted over 400 small and medium sized businesses with web solutions, consultancy, training and events. The project received great recognition when it became the overall winner in the Best Public Sector Project Award category at the 2008 ICT Excellence Awards. This project which came to an end in June 2009 was funded by the regional development agency Advantage West Midlands which meant the services were at no cost to qualifying businesses. |
